Just because something works doesn't mean it can't be improved

"Just because something works doesn't mean it can't be improved" Shuri(Black Panther) Here's a little project to explain the basics of material reduction. This project is a redesign of a card holder to reduce the mass and material while maintaining its function. I chose this because it is a simple yet common object to identify as most people probably have one on them at work or school. The reduction was made by placing a couple of grooves along the faces of the card holder. This was easily achieved using FUSION360. Dimensions lifted from the sample product(the red one)๐Ÿ˜Š Next up was printing the prototype. I printed it with PLA. Slicing was done by the Ultimaker Cura app which is easily compatible with FUSION360.  The Ultimaker 3d printer is just perfect for the job as it achieved this below 2 hours PLA Print filament was preheated to 200°C and the print bed was about 60°C. Yeah, I sprayed it black after the print๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿฟ‍♂️(wakanda forever)
